Youth With A Mission Perth is an international community committed to the Great Commission: seeking God for new ways to make Jesus Christ known through evangelism, training and mercy ministries. Our primary focus is on youth, cities, and where the Gospel is needed. Our work includes local and international ministry and field focused training.

Back to Back Theatre develops new forms of contemporary performance created by artists with disabilities, giving voice to social, political and economic issues that speak to all people. In 2020 we continued to deliver major outcomes in our professional repertoire in Australia and overseas, and deliver a suite community and education programs. In January we were fortunate to travel safely before borders closed to North America, taking THE SHADOW WHOSE PREY THE HUNTER BECOMES to international audiences for the first time, while simultaneously taking THE DEMOCRATIC SET to community members in Vancouver. In March the everpopular CAMP weekend returned, which ran alongside our RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM. Throughout the year, our artistic teams continued to collaborate remotely, continuing THEATRE OF SPEED and SPEED TRIALS online, and developing ENSEMBLE LED EXPLORATIONS. Our artistic outputs altered in format, but never halted, a testament to this was unveiled with CAMP INTERNATIONAL, an online event that brought together artists and facilitators from all corners of the globe. Our EDUCATION PROGRAMS continued too with OPEN WORKSHOPS, and residency DPROGRAM culminating in FIRST RESPONDERS, a series of short animations providing a survival guide to the future from the young people who will form it. FIRST RESPONDERS joined THE DEMOCRATIC SET, RADIAL and ODDLANDS in our screenbased repertoire, and were presented to audiences from Australia, UK, South Korea and Canada, where ODDLANDS was awarded Best Short Film at the Canadian Diversity Film Festival. In November the year culminated with an intensive fourweek production of our first ever feature length screenwork. La Trobe University provides all types of education across many fields, to a variety of students,including scholarships to disadvantaged. A large number of our students are stronglyencouraged to organise and participate in a wide variety of charitable events.

PIRI’s mission is to promote parental mental health and wellbeing and optimize infant cognitive, emotional and social development through major research and public health initiatives, research translation and dissemination of effective interventions. All PIRI activities are informed by an evidencebase and research. Our research expertise focuses on ante and postnatal depression and anxiety, the transition to parenthood, novel parentinfant interventions including emental health tools, premature birth and motherbaby bonding. Our purpose is to create excellent early years services, accessible to all, supported by suitably trained health professionals. We continue to publish in peer reviewed journals and advocate for the early years.

Penington Institute's mission is to actively support the adoption of approaches to drug use that promote safety and human dignity. It does so through independent, nonpartisan thought leadership, community education, training, research and policy formation.

Working with young people, our partners and one another, Orygen is redefining what is possible in Australian and global youth mental health research, policy, education and clinical care. Orygen provides national leadership and expertise in the design and delivery of early identification and intervention strategies for young people at risk of developing mental health and associated drug and alcohol problems, or for those already showing early signs of mental health problems or associated drug and alcohol problems. Orygen’s vision is for all young people to enjoy optimal mental health as they grow into adulthood.

Mental Health First Aid Australia pursues its charitable purpose of providing education programs to increase the mental health literacy of the Australian community via our Mental Health First Aid Standard, Youth, Teen, Older Person, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs. We conduct research to develop and evaluate a number of programs. We support effective dissemination of these programs across Australia and overseas.

We provided scholarships to outstanding young vocationally trained Australians, to train and work overseas and reinvest their knowledge and experience in Australia. Due to Covid19 restrictions we postponed all new scholarships and continued to manage current scholarships.
